Scissorless Media opened it's doors in early 2006 to provide family digital archival services of all kinds. Scrapbooks are great -- but digital scrapbooks are better because you can keep a copy of them on DVD in your safety deposit box. Fire, theft, flood ... your memories can be reprinted for future generations. Copies of your scrapbook pages framed also make great gifts for family and friends.

The brainchild of Leslie Shevick Raymond, a paper scrapper in addition to a head of IT in her pre-mommy life, Scissorless Media was born when Leslie saw the need to help others get their memories into the digital world. It is the perfect combination of her skills, and seeing a client's scrapbook come to life is extremely rewarding for her.

Leslie started programming at age six and has been at the computer ever since. Designing flyers, brochures, business identity packages and marketing materials helped pay her way through college. She has worn many hats throughout her career, both in television and film and the digital/web world. Before graduating college, she'd already worked one summer on "America's Funniest Home Videos." Within weeks of arriving in Los Angeles after graduating from San Jose State University with her degree in Radio, Television and Film, she was working on the set of "Ellen." She worked her way up from production assistant to assistant director on films including "Forget Paris," "Dangerous Minds," and lots you've probably never heard of. (Curious? Check her out on IMDB!)  Her first web site ever was in 1995 for Walt Disney Pictures "Toy Story," and she built the sites for Walt Disney Pictures, Touchstone Pictures and Hollywood Pictures for several years. Leslie also led the development team for Tickets.com's internet ticketing system, Marvel's Official Online Store, Lord of the Ring's Online Store, and full sites including ecommerce solutions for Xena, Hercules, and Highlander television shows. She shared her knowledge as UCLA Extension professor teaching courses in web programming, Flash, Director, Photoshop, visual effects for tv and film, After Effects, and Premiere. Her full internet portfolio can be viewed by clicking HERE.

As a digital scrapbooker, Leslie is well established in the online scrapbooking community. She's a member at several online communities and posts frequently to her galleries. She is on three creative teams, and just completed a guest stint with a fourth team designing sample pages for digital kit artists. She's had articles featured at ClubMom.com on digital scrapbooking topics, and is in the process of writing more. In addition, she designs her own custom kits. These will soon be available for purchase at Scissorless Media's online shop.
